| Although
Annie's two
doggie pals were adopted since all were saved by HART after their
elderly owner went into assisted living, Annie still waits for her
new forever home. And this female beagle mix, age 14-plus, has been
waiting for years! Mostly black with a cropped tail and gray/white
muzzle, Annie has a pronounced limp (front leg) so doesn't need long
walks. She has lived with cats, was trained to use "wee pads"
indoors, and has lived in boarding kennels with numerous other dogs
as roommates. On overnights with volunteers, she's great about
scheduled potty times and lays down near people then follows them
room to room. Gentle, patient and eager to please, Annie likes car
rides, petting sessions (ear scratches and back massages) and soft
beds or blankets. |
