Happy Endings
Cat Loving HART dog, Concha, finds loving home with Peggy and Pat

Concha is very happy in her new home. She has tried to
flex her muscles a few times: with other dogs, with Fifi, and yesterday,
with Pat. The great thing is that we discovered the GENTLE LEADER and she
has responded extremely quickly and well to it. She is figuring out who is
boss. She learns quickly, wants to please, and is so very loving. I have no
question that we found the perfect dog for us.
She has turned out to be quite the hunter. We moved up the
hill from our old house, and we are closer to wildlife. She grabbed a mouse
on the patio the other day, killed it mercilessly, and is quite obsessed
with baby rabbits, ground squirrels, or anything that moves.
We are grateful for the Gentle Leader, b/c it helps to manage
her with the leash. This is important, b/c Concha gets walked about 1.5
miles, 2x/day.
It also serves as a reminder to her that she is NOT the boss.
Attached are photos w/Concha in our new little home, together
with Fifi, or Queen La Fifa, as Pat calls her. They've been sleeping
together (as well as Concha & Collins, the cat) from the very first day.
Thank you for knowing that we are the correct home. We truly
are. And although little Conchita is still learning the rules, she is
learning them fast. We are having great fun with her, and it just gets
better every day!
